Publishing Services: The Centre for the Book’s main goal is to achieve access to books for all South Africans by catalysing a thriving culture of reading, writing and publishing through its projects and by generating debate; sourcing and sharing relevant information about books; writing; publishing; libraries; resources; and providing opportunities to all who are interested.
Promoting and fostering the development of South African writing, illustrating and publishing in all local languages as a way of building a common reading culture. Catalysing initiatives to make such books attractive and easily available to all South Africans.
